Tsunan is a little-heard-of character in Rurouni Kenshin, but I like him a lot. He was in the Sekihoutai with Sanosuke, and along with Sano he's the only survivor. They are best friends, and make a great pair - they have similar personalities, but different attitudes. Tsunan seems more reserved and intelligent, whereas Sanosuke is outgoing and crazy! Tsunan is also an artist, and he makes bombs as well. |
He doesn't appear much in the series, but he should. He was in the Motion Picture for about a minute, and he was in a short story arc near the beginning of the series. He did come back shortly after the Christian Arc, right at the end of the anime, and played quite an important part in the series, which is nice! Strangely, he reminds me of a cross between Sanosuke and Hiko. He also looks a lot more exotic than the other characters, to me. ^_^
